Did you know? Here are just a few of the ways PARC programs and experiences made a difference to Santa Barbarans in 2019:

• Gave more than 400 children free summer camp experiences through the Summer Fun Drop-In Recreation Program.
• Restored Douglas Family Preserve habitats by caring for trees and removing non-native species.
• Made golf accessible to more than 100 youth in Russ Morrison Junior Golf at Santa Barbara Golf Club through scholarships and affordable instruction.
• Amped up the local cultural scene with five free summertime Concerts in the Park at Chase Palm Park.
• Beautified Santa Barbara and deferred graffiti, while giving teens in the Arts Alliance program a creative outlet, by painting murals in public spaces like Sunflower Park.
• Provided Eastside families with a free, unstructured play area within walking distance, by building a playground at the Municipal Tennis Center.
