We're hiring for our 2020 season

The perfect match

We will be looking for new members to join the Shenton Safaris' family at Kaingo in 2020. We're looking only for the best of the best to grow our family and safari experience even further! The three roles that we will be hiring for starting in May 2020 are the following: Media & Reservations Manager, Front of House Manager for Kaingo and a Level 1 Teveta Accredited Walking Guide. We thought we'd reach out to you, our subscribed newsletter readers, as there's one main driving force behind our hiring process - passion for our wild corner of paradise and for Shenton Safaris! We'll be collecting CVs from all applicants until January 2020, and we can't wait to find the perfect people to adopt into our family!

An alternative to buying "stuff"

A little bit of giving

We all get caught up in the never-ending holiday season hype; there's no denying it, and I don't even want to try to say that I don't too! There's all that joyful spirit of getting together with loved ones to enjoy quality time. You're not meant to argue or get in fights, you promise yourself to not overeat, you try not to fall down consumerist rabbit holes and spend a lot of money on "stuff" - but you inevitably do all of the above. Well, for this festive season, I'd like to share some alternative inspiration. A wonderful gift is to help communities by sponsoring someone's education, or help conservation efforts by donating to aid their scouts or K9 unit. There's so much that can be done with so little! So, let's try to go beyond the consumer-tale of the festive season, and do a little bit of giving!
