At the end of Q4 in 2018, we launched our collaborative SEC Regulation D 506(c) investment fund with 99 limited partnership slots for individuals, firms, practices, and groups to invest in the field of Radiology AI. Since then, we've had an exciting first year!
A recap of 2019 for Bold Brain Ventures. This year we...
• Grew our team and our network of investors, AI companies, radiologists, supporters, and collaborators
• Started building a portfolio and demonstrated access to exclusive deal flow. Our Managing Partners, Dr. Robin Prasad and Dr. Tom Deur, made personal investments in six promising Radiology AI companies, including CureMetrix and Koios Medical, both of whom received FDA Clearance in 2019 for AI-based software and products! A.I. Analysis, Mindshare Medical, Bunkerhill, and Inference Analytics also all have outstanding teams and tech behind them and are gaining traction in this sector
• Were featured in AuntMinnie.com, Radiology Today, and other healthcare and business publications
• Formed a venture partnership with Google Cloud for Startups
• Exhibited at RSNA in the AI Showcase
• Saw remarkable advancements in the field of Radiology AI and increased interest and investment activity in this space
