The days are fast counting down to that most glorious moment when our Lord entered the world as God and Man. What gifts did the Babe receive from his visitors? From the wise men of the East, we are told gold, frankincense, and myrrh; from the local shepherds (though no mention is made in scripture), we can be sure their humble gifts were dearly given. But regardless the offering, each was valued and recognized as the most precious thing the giver could bring the new born king.
