Calling QE2 Officers, Crew and Workers

In response to the topic  "Name your favourite or memorable forum topics" (log in to read)" several forum members’ have highlighted they would like to see more memories from QE2 Officer, Crew and Workers.

Memories are easily forgotten but The QE2 Story is the place to make sure they are preserved for future generations.  Ron Baxter, for instance, posted his memories on the forum in 2016 and even though he has passed on, we can remember him and enjoy his stories on the "Cunard before QE2" topic

Here is what some of the members posted about favourite topics:

Davina: Lynda the forum is great and all topics are important I just find a pity that Officers, Crew & Worker memories section is on the low side this year.

Chris Casino: Definitely love to hear stories from QE2 Officers and crew, was really fascinated by the memories of working the RMS Queen Elizabeth in rough weather that were posted by an engineering officer. Need more of those as I'm sure those ex crew are fast disappearing…..

Clydebuilt 1971: I definitely think the QE2 Officers and Crew stories add a human element to the ship - after all she would only be a very well put together collection of materials were it not for this aspect.
