Our annual Christmas Eve Service is tonight at 6:00pm.  It will feature scripture and a message from the Christmas story, our favorite Christmas carols, and will end with lighting of candles singing Silent Night.  Childcare will be available.
On behalf of Pastor Neal and all the staff at First Presbyterian Church, we wish you and your family a beautiful and blessed Christmas Holiday. The Church Office will be closed December 25-27, and open again for regular worship services on Sunday, December  29th at 9am and 11am.
Beginning in January, Pastor Neal will resume our long-running sermon series on Faith and Film.  This year's features include Disney's Frozen II;  a film adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel, Little Women; the critically acclaimed Netflix film, The Two Popes, an inspiring WWII era comedy, Jojo Rabbit, the biopic Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, starring Tom Hanks as America's most famous Presbyterian minister, Mr. Rogers; and a sixth "surprise" film yet to be announced...or even decided, for that matter!  Please weigh in with suggestions for Pastor Neal:  Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker? 1917? Once Upon a Time in Hollywood?  Toy Story 4? Rocketman? Something else entirely?
Our preschool is hosting a Christmas book fair to allow families and friends to purchase books for their families or as gifts for others. Usborne Books offers over 2,000 books in their current catalog to choose from, meaning there is something for everyone (including Spanish language books, Christmas themed books, and more). 50% of proceeds will go to the preschool to build its library. All orders will ship directly to you as soon as they are processed and are guaranteed by Christmas. Please shop online by visiting www.LaurensBookNook.com and contact Lauren Steinmann at 915-996-1473 or LaurensUBAM@gmail.com with any questions.
Wishing You A
