Your generous giving makes a huge difference. Last year it helped ensure that:
- 28 countries around the world, received wheelchair shipments including Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Jordan, Indonesia, Bhutan and Pakistan
- 77 physical therapists were trained to World Health Organization wheelchair provision standards
- 450 people with disabilities and their families received business training
- 50 employers received disability awareness training
But our work has always been about more than numbers. It's about bringing mobility and hope to real people - like Abigail, Mirna, and Aceli - whose lives your giving has transformed for the better. Because a properly-fitted wheelchair is not a short-term fix - it’s a bridge to a sustainable future.

A note on tax
With the tax law changes under the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, more donors are choosing the following strategies to meet their 2019 financial goals.
- Timing gifts strategically - for example, if you make an annual donation at the beginning of the calendar year, consider moving your gift up to the end of the preceding calendar year to group together gifts for a single tax year.
- Donating Securities (stock, bonds, etc.) and saving on capital-gains tax.
- Giving through a Donor Advised Fund.
