Last week, we set out to raise KES 3 Million in unrestricted funds for our operations in 2020. We reached out to you all for your help, you said yes and as a result, we are elated to announce that we raised a total of KES 3,461,948.31 through ticket sales, raffle prizes and donations!
This was in addition to Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi's surprise announcement, pledging funding for the restoration of McMillan Memorial Library from Sharjah World Book Capital 2019!
Our event was a success and we couldn't have done it without your generous support for which we are truly grateful. Nairobi's libraries will be a little more vibrant because of all our partners!
We' like to do this all over again next year, and hope that you will partner with us once again.
