CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR NEWEST PATROLLERS

Steve Perry, Annabel Pratt, Chris Hayward, Halle Constable and Jorge Constable have now completed their training and are officially Bronze Medallion (Steve) and Surf Rescue Certificate holders (everyone else).

They completed their training course on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings throughout November and were assessed on Saturday at the club house.

They will be out and about in their bright new uniforms and on patrol so be sure to congratulate them.
Congratulations also goes to our newest Bronze Medallion holders:
Elli Beecham, Gus Patmore, Sam Perry and Callum James all completed their upgrades on the weekend.

Absolute last chance to requal...

There are still a number of members who are yet to attend any of the requal that has been on offer.

Ben will be offering requal this Saturday at the beach all day from 9am -  5pm so if you are yet to attend this will be one of your very last chances.

Please make the effort to attend as those not requalified after 31st December will be unable to patrol due to insurance and we are already struggling with numbers on some patrols.

Can you help us sell Raffle Tickets?

We are looking for any adults or kids who would like to help us sell raffle tickets outside of the Ice Creamery this Saturday from 9am - 11am.

The draw to win a new bike is fast approaching! Money raised is to fund the new Kracka longboards.

Please contact Troy if you are able to help 0437 370 859.

Christmas Day Patrols

The time is getting close where we need to start asking for volunteers to keep our flags up on Christmas Day. We don't roster anyone on but ask our available patrol people to put up their hand to swap their xmas hat for a surf rescue hat for a 2 hour shift starting at 9am, 11am, 1pm or 3pm.

Bring down your family and friends, set up volleyball or go for a paddle – what better way to spend an Aussie Christmas!

Please advise Club Captain Troy 0437 370 859.

Nippers Kids Disco at Club Narooma

Thanks to all those who went to the Kids Disco and supported our sponsor Club Narooma. A fun time was had by all and a few lucky ones too.

NSW Interbranch Carnival

A massive congratulations to all the competing members of the Interbranch team, as well as the coaches, officials, chaperones and families that went to support them.

Not only is it a wonderful achievement to be selected in the team, it is a challenging carnival with some very tough competition.

In recent years our FSC competitors have had to travel great distances to attend the annual event. This year's carnival was held at Bulli, much closer to home, however the recent bushfires and subsequent road closures meant it was still a long trek there and back!

All of the team displayed great determination and sportsmanship and should be commended, especially our water competitors who faced very challenging surf conditions.

Narooma SLSC is proud to have the following members represent the Far South Coast;
U12 Boys: Kaleb Miles, Johnny Constable, Bray Constable
U12 Girls: Rogue Constable, Jesse Doull
U13 Boys: Travis Stubbs
U13 Girls: Milly Tyrrell (ex-Narooma!)
U14 Boys: Kane Doull
U14 Girls: Halle Constable
U15 Boys: Liam Mahony
U15 Girls: Kailey Jorgensen
U17 Boys: Aiden Miles
U17 Girls: Elli Beecham
U19/Open Male: Riley Miles

Lots of great photos have been shared on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/narooma.slsc/

Broulee Junior Carnival last weekend

Thanks to Broulee Surfers SLSC for putting on a great first carnival of the season. And thanks to Santa for fitting time to visit the Nippers at this busy time of year! Fantastic effort from all of the Narooma Nippers, a great show of participation and sportsmanship.

Thank you to Dobbo, Jenni, Youngy and Whitey for helping out with the officiating, our water safety who no doubt had very wrinkly fingers and toes and our age mangers. A big thanks also goes to Carla and Monica who have pulled off a very successful first carnival as our new Nippers Coordinators - well done girls!
