Season's Greetings

from all at Grange Big Local

GBL Newsletter, December 2019

(L to R: Bidemi from Barnet TV, Somayeh from Lymore Garden Girls Football Club, Filomena from Bread n Butter, Julie from Martin School and East Finchley resident Naomi, who runs Sound Bath meditation sessions.)

Thanks to all those who came to our Get Together - including the grants project leaders above. We heard from them about the great community projects they are running in our area - thanks for all your work.

Have you taken part in any activities yet - or know anyone who may be interested? There are details of upcoming projects below.... and there will be more to follow in the new year.

We had a really positive day at our Get Together - it was good to meet people from across the community and hear their views on what Grange Big Local should do in our next plan. We also had some new people come forward and join our board - the full list of board members is now online.

We were pleased to welcome the Archer Newspaper to our Get Together too - take a look at their interview with our Chair James Masters

GBL presents... the Fun Palace film

A short film about our Fun Palace is now up on YouTube -  with thanks to Barnet TV for filming this - there is some great footage of all the activities, including some fun shots with the animals at Barnwood!

Survey update.. We got 268 responses!

Thanks to everyone who completed our survey form. We will share some of the data on our website in the new year - your feedback is really helping us develop our next plan.

We will need residents to get on board and help us lead projects - look out for opportunities to get involved coming in 2020.
