Free Cyber Protection Presentation – Spaces still available
We are holding a FREE Cyber Protection Presentation on Tuesday 28 January at the Chichester Enterprise Centre at 6:00 pm – the two hour presentation will be led by Andy Rawlinson, Police Cyber Prevent Officer & Cyber Security Advisor.

If you’re a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME) then there’s around a 1 in 2 chance that you’ll experience a cyber security breach.  Falling victim to cyber-crime can be devastating for your business, and when you consider that SMEs make up 99.9% of Britain’s 5.5 million private sector businesses, it represents a real threat to the whole of the UK economy.
For further information and to book your place go to Eventbrite.

Top 10 security tips for small businesses
storing personal data

Almost all small businesses handle personal information and customers share data online every time they visit your website, search for or buy something or send you an email. It is therefore important to ensure you are handling this data safely and securely.  Faye Spencer, Head of Customer Contact at the Information Commissioner's Office  (ICO) shares her Top Ten Tips for storing personal data on the blog  today.  She also has advice for what to do when there is a personal data breach.

In celebration of Small Business Saturday 2019, the ICO launched a new  SME website hub, developed to make it easy for sole traders, small businesses and SMEs to find the essential guidance they need to understand their GDPR obligations.
