In the Czech Republic, the people love the Christmas season.
Just about every home has a decorated Christmas tree with all the trimming.
The children here don't wait for Santa Claus to deliver their gifts. Instead, they are hoping to catch a glimpse of Ježížek, who is baby Jesus, miraculously delivering their gifts on Christmas Eve.
For a Christmas meal it's not a turkey or ham, but carp and potato salad.
The Czech nation is only .07% Christian, yet you will see a manger scene in every town square.
During the Christmas season Czech people are far more open to hear the Christmas story and Jesus's sacrifice which opened the door for anyone to receive eternal life. Jesus is the reason for the season! We wish you a Blessed Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!
