The children here don't wait for Santa Claus to deliver their gifts. Instead, they are hoping to catch a glimpse of Ježížek, who is baby Jesus, miraculously delivering their gifts on Christmas Eve.
For a Christmas meal it's not a turkey or ham, but carp and potato salad.
The Czech nation is only .07% Christian, yet you will see a manger scene in every town square.
