As the days get shorter and colder, it’s an opportune time to talk about energy spending. Hopefully you have been hearing about the new tables in the catalogue on energy poverty. The tables are part of a new online mapping tool called the Energy Poverty and Equity Explorer developed by the Canadian Urban Sustainability Practitioners (CUSP) network. In November we hosted a webinar, “What is energy poverty and how is it measured?”, presenting the new tool and the tables. Also in November, a number people from Ontario gathered together for an in person meeting and hosted a data party with the tables. The tables themselves are available in the catalogue or by clicking here.
