Membership Matters - Why your membership matters
Season's Greetings
Almost to 2020! We are almost at that pivotal year: the end of the VISION 2020 period, and now, at the start of a new roadmap with the launch of the World Report on Vision.

But now is the time for our year-in-review (below): do let us know what you think.

Happy holidays! We look forward to working with you in the new year!

At a crossroads

We begin, as ever, with IAPB's President, Bob McMullan, writing about his experiences and impressions from the year.  "The IAPB alliance is at a crossroads. Many major initiatives of the past are winding down, and we are putting together the framework for a bold and ambitious new future", he notes

He is also enthused by the increasing membership and the opportunities that opens up for everybody: "
The Council was also a great opportunity to meet with IAPB’s growing membership—155 members at last count. I strongly believe that the IAPB alliance is a great platform to build a common cause and advocate for change with a united voice. The growing numbers help to amplify our message: universal eye health".
