On these cold & blustery winter days, there's nothing better than snuggling up with a cup of hot chocolate, a blanket & a good book or some Netflix!

I highly recommend New York Times best seller Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat: Mastering the Elements of Good Cooking. It's a lighthearted approach to kitchen science and demystifies the four elements of good cooking for everyone.

The Game Changer, a new film produced by James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jackie Chan, documents the explosive rise of plant-based eating in professional sports, mixing real-time, groundbreaking science with cinematic stories of struggle and triumph. It follows the story of James Wilks — elite Special Forces trainer and winner of The Ultimate Fighter — as he travels the world on a quest for the truth about meat, protein, and strength. Showcasing elite athletes, special ops soldiers, and visionary scientists. Wilks’ journey exposes outdated myths about food that not only affect human performance, but the health of the entire global population.

One of my personal goals has been to read more novels which are not just nutrition and sciency based!! I have really enjoyed the Neil Pasricha's book ideas. Also, his list below of unconventional gifts which are environmentally friendly and clever really resonates with me. Please check them out below as there are some fabulous ideas!!!
