Come hang out in the Gallery with us! Remember, we have a reception on the 1st Friday of each month, but there are other activities that we have planned for the coming year as well. Just keep in touch through the newsletter to stay informed. If you can't make it to a special Gallery event, you can come in to say hi to the member working their shift in the Gallery each week. The Gallery is open from Tuesday -Saturday, 11:00-6:00.

Artist Demonstrations

A couple times a year, various members of Gallery Calapooia give demonstrations so the public can see how we make the things we do. We do these during the Winter Holidays and during the July Crazy Daze sale. In addition, individual artists will sometimes demonstrate when they are the Featured Artist for that month or just for fun. Watch this newsletter for times and subjects. Here are some photos from this year's Holiday demonstrations.

Mary Ridler, this month's Featured Artist and one of Gallery Calapooia's new members, is among many local artists who have entered our Show for members of the public. She has entered each year since we started The Big Show of Little Art. This year, like other Gallery members, Mary will be hanging her 8" x 8" piece on her own Gallery wall so we can save the Featured Artist Walls for the public who enter. Be sure to check out her new work and the 8" x 8" work of our other members when you come in to check out the exhibit. Here is a picture of the work she entered in our first 8" x 8" show.
