Howdy,

This week the New York Times published an article about smartphone location data it obtained. The article is an interesting look into how you can be identified through seemingly anonymous data. They found people visiting Tiger Woods, Johnny Depp and other elusive places. I really enjoyed the visualizations in the article and modern web design. Every site could use this upgrade.

There is also emerging research on your smartphone's night mode. Researchers debunk the blue / yellow light argument. You would be better off staying away from your phone after 9PM every night anyway. Your brain needs time to decompress and stabilize to get good sleep.

Have a Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas!

Best,

Scott
