December Update from AAA Play

As 2019 draws to a close, we are reflecting on a fantastic year at AAA Play. We have been able to connect with more people than ever before - more sports, councils, disability organisations, and of course you, the people who use our website, play sport, and continue to inspire us to work harder every day.

We want to thank each and every one of you for helping to grow AAA Play and allowing us to connect more and more people with a disability to sporting opportunities in their area.

Just because 2019 is nearly over and the holiday season is here doesn't mean the fun is over though. There are HEAPS of awesome events over summer to get involved in, and all new sports to try. So keep reading, find something new to get involved with in 2020 here, and from all of us at AAA Play, have a safe, fun and active summer!

In the Spotlight

AAA Play and Tennis Victoria Australian Open Competition

One of the most anticipated events in Victoria every year is the Australian Open Tennis. Tennis champions from all over the world come to Victoria to play at the highest level of the game. No one can compete with the Aussie Champion Dylan Alcott in our eyes though, and in 2020 he will be going for his sixth straight Australian Open title!

This year, AAA Play is super excited to partner with Tennis Victoria, to give you the chance to WIN your very own Australian Open Experience.

All you have to do is take a photo of yourself playing tennis anywhere in Victoria, post it on social media, tagging @ Tennis Victoria and hashtag #AAAplay to go in the running to win.

See more information here, and for a tennis program near you, see our website

AAA Ambassador News
On Tuesday we were able to sit down with our Ambassadors and enjoy a delicious lunch to celebrate another fantastic year championing the Access All Abilities program, and inspiring more people to play sport and get active.

It was an awesome chance to hear about what our (very busy!) Ambassadors have been up to, and what their plans are for next year. We were incredibly excited to hear that Chelsea Haag Witherden recently won the Special Olympics Melbourne Inner East Athlete of the Year! Congrats Chelsea!
