Essay

Dear Class of 2020

Dr. Danielle Martin

In January of 2017 Dr. Martin wrote an Open Letter to the physicians who would graduate from medical school in 2020. Among other things she told them, "The future of healthcare is defined not by a linear trajectory of “progress,” but by a series of competing tensions that our decision-makers will need to navigate. These tensions can only be resolved at the system level, and with your participation."
