Two Things for Tuesday
We are officially one week into the new year. Bring it 2020! You may have written down some goals for the new year and you may have even hit the gym once or twice already. Or maybe you are still scrambling to find your 2020 calendar. However you approach the new year and new beginnings, you are in good company. One thing you might consider this year is moving. While moving can be a ton of work (stop in and chat with Laurie about the three different places she moved stuff with her family four days before Christmas) it also is full of possibilities and a chance to dream a little bit.
Our clients decided to finish out 2019 with a move to this gorgeous home in East Grand Rapids on Alexander. This classic 1930 Tudor features significant original architectural details inside and out, along with major modern updates and improvements. These details include hardwood flooring, arched doorways, plaster cornice moldings and wrought iron railings. We hope that they are discovering all sorts of fun things about their new home and have gotten through most of their moving boxes. (Michigan winters are long so no rush - you have time!)
Our Ada clients decided to list their home located at 417 Haskins in the awesome Clements Mill neighborhood. This home's beauty begins the second you walk in with a charming entry that leads to the main floor office, living room and kitchen. The updated kitchen with granite countertops and center island flows nicely into the family room. Just off the family room is the new screened porch/composite deck and lower level patio; great for additional outdoor living space.
