What's your impact?

Hi, I’m Dan McCann, Chairman of the Church Council, the administrative council of our local church. You may know me as the guy who is always traveling around the world on a missions project! Lately, God has been speaking to me and asking how my spiritual life is doing, what am I doing for my local church, and how am I impacting my local community. So last fall, when I was invited to participate in a pilot course of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality with other church leaders, I agreed to devote the 8 weeks to the class.

A highlight of the course was the opportunity to share insights from my weekly reading and daily time with God with other men at my study table. We built an excellent relationship with each other and openly shared our life experiences. Although it was sometimes a challenge to keep up with the reading and other course requirements, I grew spiritually from this experience, and I know the other men at my table did as well. 

I am so excited that Emotionally Healthy Spirituality is now being offered to all of you, because now you can also share these experiences. I believe our church is poised to make a significant impact in our community and EHS is a valuable part of that plan, so this course is worth your time and effort. 

I trust you will prayerfully consider being part of this new discipleship emphasis in the life of our church and will join EHS as it begins in February.
