A word from our Executive Directior:
Welcome back and Happy 2020 to all our SNP Families! Already, the new year has been a bit of an adventure, what with a record snowfall - reported as 50 consecutive hours as of January 15th!
In our Tillicum location, we returned to programs on January 6th with the last of the flood damage taken care of, and the new hallway floor installed at last. With this completed, the Island Health Immunization Clinic will be underway again beginning on Wednesday the 22nd.
We have made a change in our Drop-In schedule as well, and will no longer be open on Wednesday mornings for Drop-In playgroup at Tillicum, but we do have two other playgroups at this time, in our Royal Oak Neighbourhood House location and at St.Aidan’s Church in the Gordon Head/Shelbourne area. Tuesday and Thursday Drop-In sessions are still happening at Tillicum.
Tina’s Community Kitchen’s are all planned, so be sure to
sign up for the ones you’re interested in before they fill up. You’ll take home several meals each time, and have fun cooking as well!
Winter parenting programs and workshops are also beginning soon, so please watch for these on
our calendar. We’ve made a bit of a change here, with different times and schedules, to accommodate working parents and those who aren’t always free during the days to attend workshops.
As always, we work to provide services, programs, and resources that are helpful to you and your families. Please feel free to
connect with us with any questions, concerns or suggestions as we continue to serve the children, youth and families of Saanich.
