Happy New Herring Island
Summer Arts Festival 2020!

Herring Island Summer Arts Festival began in 2006. And sculptors have seen the festival through fire season, flood and wind. With the help of Parks Victoria, the Friends of Herring Island and the various exhibiting arts groups 2020 offers art to reflect our times. You can download the Festival invitation here.

The ASV exhibition is entitled

Ebb and Flow

in reflection of the Yarra River which has been tidal around Herring Island since the falls at Queen Street were blasted clear. Our opening is on Saturday 18th January and the guest speaker is Graeme Williams OAM. We look forward to seeing you there.

The exhibition runs from 18th January to 9th February and is open from 11:30 to 4:30 on weekends and public holidays. Plus it is open on an additional Friday on 7th February which will suit people who wish to visit during business hours.

The Parks Victoria punt service runs on demand from Como Landing between 11am and 5pm during the Festival.

In 2020 5% of the ex GST sale price of work sold in our exhibition will be donated to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.
