Dear <<First Name>>
It is tempting to focus on the despair that we all feel faced with rising accumulation of CO2 in the atmosphere, and on the anger we feel because proposed government actions are far too timid to address the emergency.
But we can also look at the changes in 2019 that can give us hope, hope that the tide is turning, hope that our efforts can continue to help make a difference. This hope and optimism arise from the signs of a growing public awareness of the climate crisis and demands for action that are getting louder as well as some of the solutions that are beginning to become reality.
This recent article from The Climate Reality Project describes more about their twenty reasons for hope and optimism. We can all be energized by these indications that the world is moving towards a readiness for action.
