Our online gathering for presidents of affiliated congregations is scheduled for this Sunday, January 5th, at 1 pm Eastern / 12 pm Central / 11 am Mountain /10 am Pacific / 7 pm Central European time. The meeting is scheduled for 90 minutes. The call includes the option to dial in via phone. 

The topic for our call will be: Tikkun Olam Collaborations: The Value of Engaging with Others Beyond the Walls of the Synagogue.

In this call, we will hear from several members of the Tikkun Olam Commission who will share some of the most helpful things they’ve learned about building relationships with neighboring faith communities and non-profit organizations in their tikkun olam work. Rabbi Maurice Harris will also describe the Reconstructionist movement’s partnership with ARZA in the upcoming World Zionist Congress election and how this partnership will help to amplify progressive Jewish voices in Israel.

Each speaker will speak for approximately seven minutes, followed by seven minutes of Q&A.

1:25-1:40 -- Marilyn Kresky-Wolff and Jayme Epstein, Adat Shalom, Bethesda, MD
