Welcome to 2020, a year of demands and opportunities. We all know the stakes have never been higher. Please do not imagine that there is nothing you can do that will make a difference in this pivotal year. Not true! We need folks willing to be leaders, and also those who will put in the hours writing postcards, knocking on doors, doing voter registration, and so much more. We need you!

We here at OH12 pledge to give you the information you need to learn, connect, and engage so as to have the maximum possible impact on this year's many important elections, all the way up and down the ballot, in OH12 and beyond. We ask you to do your part by staying connected, working (with our help) to find activities that suit, and committing yourself to regular action--weekly if possible!

This newsletter will be your one-stop shop for information on how to get involved (with additional info on our public FB page and in the closed group). If you have questions, you can reach out to us via email at: indivisibleoh12@gmail.com. You can also sign up to receive an additional newsletter about voter registration by writing "subscribe" to MiaOH12@gmail.com

Each week we'll bring you a list of upcoming events, plus links to ongoing postcard, letter, and voter registration campaigns. The list will be updated frequently, so remember to check for additional opportunities. Here are a couple of things you can get started with right away, with more listed in the "Upcoming events" below.

VOTEFWD.ORG
Write letters to traditionally underrepresented, not-yet-registered voters in Ohio encouraging them to register to vote. As of 1/2/2020, there were 29,313 letters still to be written. Pledge to write a few every day. Organize a voter-registration letter-writing party and help boost turn out in Ohio this year.

MAP THE VOTE
Here's another new way to hep register voters. Donate to send voter registration forms to unregistered eligible voters in neighborhoods you pick. Check it out.

POSTCARDS TO VOTERS
Have you written cards with Tony yet? It's always important, and fun! You can write on your own, come to an event, or organize your own gathering.
2020 voter registration starts now! We have two trainings right off the bat, plus two upcoming opportunities to register voters. See additional information under "Upcoming Events" below.
