Founded in 2011, The Tippers are a high-energy 3-piece band out of Kansas City. Characterized by bold vocal harmonies, memorable original tunes, and an arsenal of covers that span the full spectrum of musical genres, The Tippers offer something for old and young listeners alike. The band has appeared in such venues as The Jazzhauz in Lawrence, Kanza Hall in Overland Park, The Celtic Fox in Topeka, and were the winners of the 2013 Texaco Country Showdown in Lawrence. They made regular appearances at Tanner’s in Overland Park and TJ Leland’s in Pittsburg between 2014 and 2017.
The Tippers have recorded and released two studio albums, Sunflowers EP (2013) and Highways Between Us (2015).
