Thank the mud piles that lifted you up for this decade!

<<First Name>>,

How did 2019 treat you?

If it was anything like my year, it was filled with ups and downs, but lots of lessons. While looking for a part-time remote job in the latter part of the year, I embarked on a chakra unblocking practice because I heard that chakra energy was a major key to manifestation. My practice included meditation (sometimes with certain gemstones), decluttering my home, and Emotional Freedom Technique ("tapping"), among other things.

I mentioned last year that I was considering becoming a hypnotherapist (which may still be a long-term goal). I started receiving some "signs" to study genealogy, but after speaking to a few practicing genealogists and taking a free online genealogy course, I reverted to looking for paid writing gigs, only to find that all of the outlets I wanted to write for didn't pay.

On Friday, December 6, 2019 during meditation, I received a very clear download from my guides about what my next path was: The Vegan Copywriter. I was reminded that since writing is my best skill, I know how to run a business, and the plant-based movement is an growing industry, serving this category of businesses through my writing would be a great way to serve - and earn an income.

Immediately after meditation, I discovered no one was using that brand, and bought the web domains that were available. I'm proud to now announce that writing and editing copy and content for cruelty-free businesses will be my main work focus for 2020, and hopefully I can make it my career for the next 10 years! You can find all the info on my website at thevegancopywriter.co. Through one of my clients, I will also be starting a new part-time contract role as Editor of TruHavn, a site I've been writing for that will provide news on plant research, nutrition, and medicine. I'm hoping my six months as the Editor will result in something long term.

While my chakra unblocking practice didn't manifest in anything physical right away, studying my energy chakras resulted in a daily writing practice on my Journals IG account, more self-awareness, learning about the unnamed digestive condition I've had for a decade (more on that below), and more inspired  creativity (the root of "inspiration" is "in spirit"!). I also discovered how powerful tapping can be to relieve anxiety. I definitely received the signs I needed to gain more direction in how I serve - which to me, is also how I live.

I wish the same "a-has" for you in your self-development journey in 2020.
