This wasn't our plan.  We just wanted to re-open a hotel.  But slings and arrows and all that.  Instead of photos of new headboards and fridges (that can come anon) we've straightforward messages on the damn virus below.  Please make sure you feel able to email (link to Edmund's email) us directly if you want to know more.

We're happy to be back in Mousehole, our absence has been grim.  We come back to a shiny building with lots of new bells and whistles.  And now is still a good moment to thank the contractors and sub-contractors who brought it back to life, to the suppliers who suffered from losing our trade and to all of you, who sent us love and support over 9 long months.

We wish all of you the best of health.  Take care and come to see us, but only when you feel it's the right moment for you.  Until then, we recommend jigsaw puzzles, wine from independent merchants and long (and short) walks.

VIRUS

We plan to remain open at all three places 7 days a week until we're told not to or we think it counter-productive.  This is such a fast moving situation, it's fruitless to pretend we know what comes next.  We will keep heeding the advice from the authorities and apply good common sense to how we do what we do.  What we can commit to is that we won't charge anything if you need to cancel your rendezvous with us, just give us as much warning as you can.

ANTI VIRUS

Anti Virus
Home may become your proxy office or school: it will be natural to want to escape to feel part of a community.

What we will do at all of our places is to make every effort to provide you with a safe space to visit with family, friends or even as a pop-up office.  All we ask is that you only visit if you feel well and that you wash your hands on entry into any of our buildings.

RE-OPENING IN MOUSEHOLE

Old Coastguard
We're back at home at The Old Coastguard and we reopen the doors this Friday 20th.  The bar opens from 3pm: drop in if you are passing, but we've cancelled plans for a dramatic hooley.  The restaurant opens from 6pm: book a table here.   And we cut the ribbon on the bedrooms on Tuesday 24th with the Winter Escape in place (see below) from Day 1.  The Roundhouse team are back at their desks and await your email.

SOMETHING TO LIGHTEN THE LOAD

We recognise that some of you will decide not to visit.  We're keen not to charge for any cancellations: just give us as much warning as you can. So gaps will appear in our diary.  We'll try to keep you informed of late availability via our hashtag #EDScoronacancellations.  And as an extra treat, we will continue the Winter Escape right through until 21 May at The GriffinThe Gurnard's and The Old Coastguard.

FORAGING, WORKSHOPS
AND SUPPER CLUBS

Foraging
We'll take a case by case view on the viability of each of our events over the next weeks and months.  Perhaps a good foraging ramble across West Cornwall is good risk mitigation in all senses?  Anyway, here's a view of our annual calendar and stay tuned to our social media feeds for updates.  Next up is our Forage & Feast Day at The Gurnard's Head on the 24 April or at The Old Coastguard on the 14 May.
