Greek School

The Greek School would like to wish everyone a Happy and Blessed New Year 2020!
  • We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all those who helped and participated in our various December events: making of kourambiedes, donating items for the Tree of Warmth, caroling, and the annual Christmas program!

  • Please join us for a short Vasilopita cutting on Monday, January 13th, at 6 pm.

BYZANTINE CHANT CLASS:
  • All with an interest in learning about our faith and participating in the services of our church are encouraged to learn the beautiful and timeless art of Byzantine Chant. Adults or children are always welcome at the Chanter’s Stand during services, as long as they will stand respectfully and plan to participate with reading or chanting according to their skills (at the discretion of the chanters). Byzantine Music Class will be changed to weeknights at 6pm twice per month, and is open to any who are interested to learn and participate, regardless of your training. Classes will feature a mixture of chanting practice, learning the theory and notation of Byzantine Chant, the structure of services and the history and theology of the hymns of our faith. Feel free to contact Dr. Niko Tatalias with any questions or concerns, and we look forward to seeing you there.  The next Byzantine Chant class will be at Tuesday Jan 7, 6pm.
