If your child will go into grades K0, K1, 6, 7, or 9 in September 2020, priority registration for Boston Public Schools is open now through Friday, Jan. 31, 2020!
It's Time to Register for BPS Now!
If your child will turn 3 or 4 years old by Sep. 1, 2020, now is the time to register for K0 and K1 seats for 3- and 4-year-olds, respectively. K0 and K1 seats are the largest entry point for BPS schools, as more than half of all BPS schools offer K0 and K1 seats for 3- and 4-year-old students.
When You Register for School Matters
Did you know that less than 50% of Black and Latino families registered on time for Boston Public Schools—compared to over 70% of white families—in 2018? When families don’t register on time during their child’s priority registration round, they don't get their top choice schools. This means that when you register your child for school matters.
