Dear loyal supporters of Who Gives a SCRAP,
In this New Year, and new decade, we are grateful for all of the past and now future support from our local communities.
You have experienced the excitement that happens when generous and thoughtful people decide to donate materials to Who Gives a SCRAP rather than throw them away, and instead get those materials into the hands of folks who can up-cycle them into something special.
You see the infinite possibilities and environmental benefits of giving items a second life and beyond. People from all over Colorado support Who Gives a SCRAP Creative Reuse Centers for reasons as varied as our mission, inventory, classes and events.
It has long been known that teachers are responsible for buying their own supplies for their students and classrooms which can be upwards of $1,000 per school year. Who Gives a SCRAP is here to help reduce their expenses by offering low-cost options and a teacher discount. In addition, we offer discounts to our military families, students, and to our 55 and over population.
Your support keeps Who Gives a SCRAP going, making it a place to bring our community together.
We need your help? Why?
*Did you know that 78 cents of every dollar we bring in goes solely to pay our rent?
*That we are 95% volunteer-powered?
*That your financial support will help us keep our doors open, pay a living wage to our staff and to hire additional staff to serve you better?
How can you help? Spend an extra $5, become a member, volunteer, donate items, tell your friends about us, share our Facebook posts, and attend classes and events. Whatever your reasons, we are grateful to have supporters like you who care about our work.
YOUR FINANCIAL SUPPORT IS NEEDED AND APPRECIATED!

Who Gives a SCRAP collects clean and reusable art, craft, and office supplies. Please follow these steps when making a donation. We would appreciate that you do not leave unattended items at our front door. It's not only a violation of our lease but illegal. **Note: Many items have creative reuse potential but it is simply a matter of space and demand whether or not we will be able to accept them and sometimes we are unable to accept some items due to legal or liability risks, safety or hazardous and universal waste concerns, recycling and disposal fees. If it looks like trash then it is trash and should be disposed of properly or by recycling it.
Holiday specific items will only be accepted 2- 3 months prior to that holiday. Thank you.
