Please, take a moment to review the December Sales Stat Report from Great Vancouver and Fraser Valley Real Estate Board. December set another record for sales activity in 2019 as the previous five months momentum continued. We are expecting this trend to continue in 2020.
The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential home sales in the region totalled 2,016 in December 2019, an 88.1% increase from the 1,072 sales recorded in December 2018, and a 19.3% decline from the 2,498 homes sold in November 2019.
Last month’s sales were 9.5% above the 10-year December sales average.
The Fraser Valley Real Estate Board processed 1,247 sales of all property types on its Multiple Listing Service® (MLS®) in December 2019, a 55.9% increase compared to the 800 sales in December of 2018, and 11.2% decrease compared to sales in November 2019.
