Just a quick note to remind you that the first Seasonal Practice Winter workshop is tomorrow. Join us for this introduction to winter self care call on January 15th at either 12:00pm PST/3:00pm EST or 5:30pm PST/8:30pm PST. We will discuss hibernation, restorative practices, and how to stay warm, cozy, and healthy this season. The workshop is the first in a series of four calls we are holding in January and February. You can take just one, or the full series is available at a discounted rate (sign up on the registration page here). The full series is below:
  • January 15th: Intro to Winter Self Care

This video call will cover basic concepts for winter self care. We will offer advice for embracing all aspects of wintertime including hibernation, restorative practices, dressing for winter, and how to stay warm, cozy, and healthy.

  • January 29th: Restorative Movement

This video call will cover restorative movement practices for winter. We will teach a series of exercises for building core strength, joint stability, and stretching, and how to do an herbal foot bath and foot massage at home.

  • February 12th: Preparing for Cold & Flu Season

This video call will cover the basics for preparing for cold and flu season. We will discuss warming winter food and herbs, how to get enough rest and sleep, how to make bone broth and an herbal steam to keep you healthy this season.

  • February 26th: Balancing Hibernation and Energy

This video call will cover how to balance your energy during the quiet, cold and dark time of year. We will discuss how to create a cozy space for reflection and exploration at home, the importance of outdoor winter play, and how to make (and enjoy) a restorative herbal bath.
