Trail News & Information

Sawmill Trail

We are excited about the progress of a brand new trail in the Moore Mountain system called the Sawmill Trail.  Construction started late November and thanks to over over 20 folks we have rough cut in most of the new trail.  An impressive 200 hours of volunteer labor has already been worked in some pretty tough weather conditions!

The Sawmill trail will provide a much needed connection from the Link River trail to the Moore Mountain trail system.  We expect the trail to be open sometime this spring.  For more information please read Lee Juillerat's recent article in the Herald and News.

Thanks to many folks we set a record in volunteer maintenance hours in 2019!  Enclosed is a summary of our most significant work.
