Shalom friends!

For the past year and half, Temple Beth Israel has been the recipient of a grant called Scientists in Synagogues, to bring Jewish and Scientific wisdom into conversation with each other at TBI. Our most prominent programs were the Rosh Hashanah morning sermon given by Dr. Paul Slovic in 2018, and Dr. Elliot Berkman’s talk on “The Psychology of Teshuvah” on Rosh Hashanah morning this past year. We also offered a 6-part seminar last winter.

We intend to continue offering Scientists in Synagogues programming, but the grant is winding down. In order to receive the rest of our grant funding, if you heard either of the Rosh Hashanah talks, or attended any of the seminar sessions, please take a few minutes to fill out this survey.

Scientists in Synagogues is a program generously sponsored by Sinai and Synapses. Part of our agreement with Sinai and Synapses requires that participants fill out a brief (about 5 minutes) survey regarding your perceptions of Judaism and the impact of Scientists in Synagogues on those perceptions. We would very much appreciate you filling out the survey sometime this week (by Jan 10).

This is an easy way for participants to help fund TBI programs. Sinai and Synapses will provide the remainder of the grant to TBI once participants fill out the survey. We thank you very much for your participation, for your time, and for your opinions!

Please fill out the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/QPKGS3Y no later than January 10th.
