We're hoping you've been well – like Chris Froome has said he is in the face of a story that his recovery is going slower than expected.
After Italian magazine BiciSport reported that Froome left Ineos's training camp early, marking a setback in his lengthy recovery from the injuries he sustained a crash last June, Froome said on Instagram on Sunday that his "recovery is going well" and that he will attend another training camp on Thursday.
Whatever Froome's status, uncertainty remains around the team's plans for balancing its many GC stars later in the year, just another Ineos-related storyline to track as the 2020 racing season rolls on.

| Froome responds to reports: "Recovery is going well"
Froome has said on Instagram that his "recovery is going well" after a story in Italian magazine BiciSport raised doubts about his status.
BiciSport reported that Froome, who is working his way back from injuries sustained in a June crash, left Ineos's training camp after just two days, quoting sports director Dario Cioni as saying, "He is not well and who knows if he will recover." On Sunday, Froome said that he was last at training camp in early December and is set for another training camp on Thursday.

| Van der Poel and Alvarado win at Brussels Universities Cyclocross
Mathieu van der Poel and Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado delivered big performances for Alpecin-Fenix at the Brussels Universities Cyclocross DVV Trofee race on Sunday.
Alvarado topped Annemarie Worst and Sanne Cant in the women's race to extend her DVV series lead. Van der Poel bested Eli Iserbyt and Corné van Kessel in the men's race, with Iserbyt leading the series with one event to go.
| Alpecin-Fenix hopes to secure race invites with results
Speaking of Alpecin-Fenix, the team is hoping to rack up ranking points this season in an effort to secure race invites for the future. As a second-division team, the Belgian outfit is not guaranteed race participations and must earn bids via organizer invites or by placing highly in the team rankings.
General manager Philip Roodhooft told Wielerflits that he didn't want his squad to make points-hunting an objective on its own, knowing that that might mean not actually racing to win, but the team "will not miss that opportunity" to try to finish atop the EuropeTour. In other words, look to van der Poel and his teammates to win some races to secure themselves more invites for 2021.
| Hosking and Welsford take Bay Crits overall titles
Chloe Hosking and Sam Welsford nabbed the overall wins at the Bay Crits this weekend in Australia.
Hosking took her second straight stage victory on stage 3 to wrap up the overall title. Kaden Groves won the final stage in the men's event, with Welsford taking third to seal the overall win.
