It has come to our attention that the proposed GolDev development (Woking Football Club’s stadium, flats and shops development), requires access for all site and construction traffic across the edge of Loop Road playing fields for around 7 to 10 years! This will severely hamper Meadow Sports FC and Old Wokingians footballing activities, not to mention spoil an essential community green space used regularly by dog walkers and families.
We have included some information put together by the South Woking Action Group above and below as we don't think many people appreciate the extent of the proposed development, which is for over 1000 flats, with some blocks 11 storeys high, totally out of keeping with the current village communities of Kingfield and Westfield.
