Reaching the Unreached with Health Services & Information
We are impacting lives globally and locally because #CSICares.
Dear <<First Name>>,

Childbirth Survival International (CSI) in-country teams achieved major milestones in 2019, efforts made possible by you and so many other supporters. Through generous donations and strategic partnerships, we not only saw lives saved and communities transformed, we also saw hope, love, and empowerment. We thank you and so many others for their support. Our special thanks to partners and donors such as the Jewish Healthcare Foundation, Quarter Fund Members with the Longmont Community Foundation, Alpha Home Care Services LLC, N.J. Lema & Co. plus individuals like Mr. Ezekiel Luhigo in Boston, Massachusetts, Mr. Mark Humphrey in Baltimore, Maryland for embracing CSI's vision to reach the unreached.

As we march into a new (fiscal) year, CSI teams in Baltimore, Maryland and abroad in sub-Saharan Africa are building and leveraging on impact to ensure pregnant women, newborns, children under five years old, adolescents and youth (especially the girl child) have access to quality health services and opportunities to thrive. We will continue to provide pregnant women with childbirth kits (OB kits), facilitate gender-focused programs to break barriers limiting women and girls to live to their full potential, conduct free cervical cancer screening in different communities, support children from low-income households acquire mandatory school supplies to enroll in school, provide scholarships to young women and men forced to drop out of school the opportunity to achieve their dreams, and more in line with CSI's top five priorities.

In the next few months, CSI leadership and staff will be hard at work to ensure another successful year of impact and growth. Additionally, on April 3, 2020 in Baltimore, Maryland, CSI will celebrate local and global impact with partners, friends, donors, and well-wishers. RSVP today and I hope you will be able to join us. CSI has a lot to do this year and our teams are already at work. With your support, let’s keep at it and build a better future. CSI's hope and vision, is to impact lives and that you will continue to see the value of your contribution in making a difference.

On behalf of CSI founders, Stella Mpanda and Tausi Suedi, board members, staff and volunteers at CSI, thank you again. Best wishes to you and yours in the new year.

Sincerely,

Bhim Bahadur BK, M.Ed
