Hope everyone had a good holiday and a Happy New Year.
Our season seemed to start off ok with some snow early on but things quickly went down hill. Keep in mind at this exact time last year it was 50F and sunny with no snow in sight. In fact, we didn't start grooming until January 20th last year. But things can change fast, so we will keep you posted when the trails will be open.

Trail Repair Update:
We had some fairly significant washouts on our trails from the Halloween storm. Fortunately most of the washouts have been repaired and we owe a big thanks to Roger Saheim and Matt Plummer for all their hard work. We have been through most of the trail system recently and we are in pretty good shape. We just need snow!
Snowmobile Races on Lake Luzerne:
Rock Maple Racing is returning to Lake Luzerne on February 8th, 2020 for some cross-country type racing. In the past it's been a great turn-out so don't miss out! Gas Receipt Logs:
This year Stewart's Shops is helping us by installing boxes near the gas pumps to help encourage snowmobilers to save their gas receipts and donating their gas tax to the snowmobile club. Simply print out a gas receipt at the pump and put it in the box. Then sign the log book that is attached to the box. You're basically agreeing to donate your gas taxes to the club. At the end of the year we file with the state to get this tax money back. Simple! If you want to just save the receipts yourself (because you fill up at gas stations other than Stewarts), give us the receipts at the end of the season with the completed Fuel Tax Assignment Form and we will submit them to the state ourselves. Poker Run:
Below is the flyer for our 2020 Poker run sponsored by the LG Winter Carnival (shout-out to Kim Zilm for designing the flyer). Registration starts at the Roaring Brook Ranch in Lake George between 9am - 11am, Saturday February 22nd. Parking and a breakfast buffet will be available for those that want to come early. Parking is also available at the LG transfer station, the West Mountain parking lot (on West Mtn rd in Queensbury), or at the Luzerne town garage (on East River drive). Last year we had a great turnout and a few people took home some serious cash!
