Baptism Of Our Lord

Good Morning Saints! Epiphany Season is here and it is so exciting. From Tres Reyes this Saturday to a featured Speaker MLK weekend God's gifts will continue to unfold!

Tres Reyes (Three Kings) Saturday 1/11 5pm!
Join us for our Three Kings party this year with pan, food, fun, dancing and my second attempt at authentic black cake! Tell your friends and let's make this the best Tres Reyes party yet. Please click and share the facebook event here.
MLK Mass 11am Sunday 1/19 With Speaker Lew Finfer!
Lew Finfer, the Co-Director of Massachusetts Community Action Network (housed at St. Mary's) has been a Dorchester activist all his life. As a young adult he joined The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's Poor People's Campaign, marched on Washington and took part in King's marches through Roxbury and elsewhere. I've invited him to share his experiences and his perspective on where King was bringing the movement at the time of his assassination. Come prepared to celebrate King's legacy and learn. Invite your friends who are into and interested in history!
Message From Our Bishops Condeming Anti-Semitism
In response to recent attacks and persisting anti-semitism our Bishops have put out the following message: https://www.diomass.org/news/diocesan-news/ma-bishops-condemn-violence-against-jews
Still Time To Pledge!
Consider making a gift that will truly keep on giving by pledging to support St. Mary's in 2020. Join us as we shoot for 90,000.00 in pledges this year, roughly a $150.00 increase from the previous year for everyone. Will you raise your gift? We'll provide updates between now and the Annual Meeting and you can make your pledge on sheets we will have at church or online.
New St. Mary's Prayer List!
One way we will pray our way into being a stronger community in this new year will be keeping a parish prayer list. Please let us know if you'd like to be on it, it is up to you whether or not to state the reason. We will update the list, read it out periodically, pray over it daily here at the church and support each other in the work of life and faith.
Annual Meeting Sunday January 26th At 11am Service!
Join us for an exciting look back and look ahead as we imagine God's call for us during this new year and decade. We'll have some one on hand to help with childcare/kid's activities as well so all can focus and participate.
