The Sketchbook Project based at the Brooklyn Art Library, has one of the largest collections of sketchbooks in the world. With over 45,000  from 30,000 global creative people, all you have to do to participate is order a sketchbook, fill it up, and send it back to them.

New light

Fancy some light relief and a last-minute getaway? The 8th Annual Amsterdam Light Festival is gracing the streets and canals of the Dutch capital until 19th January and this year it looks especially good.

Allbirds all-natural shoes are made from merino sheep’s wool, eucalyptus tree fibres and sugar cane, and their laces are made from recycled plastic bottles. New Year new shoe?

New series

The evenings are cold and dark and let's face it, you've watched everything on Netflix. Thankfully, the BBC has announced a new series entitled Secrets of the Museum. Viewers will be invited behind the scenes of the V&A and told the stories of the many museum objects held there. It starts Thursday 6 February on BBC2.

New work

The children’s mental health charity Place2Be has for the past 25 years provided in-school support and training to improve the emotional wellbeing of pupils, families, and staff in primary and secondary schools. We recently completed their latest impact report detailing the amazing work they do.
