Propelled by original music and lyrics by pop singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles and a book by screenwriter Jessie Nelson, the Tony Award-nominated play serves up equal parts humor and heart. Four years ago today, @realDonaldTrump brought his campaign for the presidency to Burlington, Vt. He still owes the city $8,500 for security expenses, @clamdin reports.
(Bonus: @BarackObama owes #BTV $5,900 — but @BernieSanders paid his bill.)

Amazing to now see the Burlington Police Union resorting to the same level of public shaming and propaganda we’ve seen from department leaders via official channels. Hate to see this lack of community-justice trickle throughout the department. #btvcc #btv https://t.co/OFJB7Jo2IU

- Traffic/Street Signs: NON Stop Sign
I am the owner and occupant of 18 Adsit Court and have been living at this address for almost two decades. Over the years, I've seen the sidewalk plow either tear up my yard in an attempt to avoid the no parking sign or take out the no parking sign altogether. This occurs because the sidewalk plow is wider than the sidewalk. I thought the city had given up replacing the signs, but now it looks like you plan on putting up a new sign - someone from DPW hammered in a post about a foot from where the old sign was (notice the metal at the right in the dirt) probably as an indicator of where the new sign should go.
If you really feel you must install a new sign, please place the new sign closer to the road. Where you have the wood post is closer to the sidewalk than the previous sign was located. If the new sign were to be placed where that wood post is, the odds of both property damage and sign damage by the sidewalk plow will increase.
Also, the sign up the street in front of 26 Adsit was taken out by the sidewalk plow a winter or two ago

- Transportation and Parking Improvement Request
The Allen House parking lot at UVM which also is used for UVM Admissions has hundreds of employees and visitors use it every day. It is frequently hard and dangerous to pull out and in because cars waiting at nearby major stoplight at Main St are blocking the entrance. There have been accidents here with people pulling out and not being able to see people through the stopped traffic as well. I would like to recommend painting lines and a Do Not Block Driveway sign you try and make it more obvious and safer for folks to pull in and out of this busy lot. Thanks!

Random Burlingtonian Quote of the Day 📝
It appears that mankind in this life are not agents of trial for eternity, but that they will eternally remain agents of trial. To suppose that our eternal circumstances will be unalterably fixed in happiness or misery, in consequence of the agency or transactions of this temporary life, is inconsistent with the moral government of God, and the progressive and retrospective knowledge of the human mind. God has not put it into our power to plunge ourselves into eternal woe and perdition; human liberty is not so extensive, for the term of human life bears no proportion to eternity succeeding it; so that there could be no proportion between a momentary agency, (which is liberty of action,) or probation, and any supposed eternal consequences of happiness or misery resulting from it.
