2nd SUNDAY OF CHRISTMAS
Within the gospel reading’s profound words lies the simple message that God is revealed in a human person. Though we may try to understand how the Word existed with God from the beginning of time, the wonder we celebrate at Christmas is that the Word continues to dwell among us. Christ comes among us in the gathered assembly, the scriptures, the waters of new birth, and the bread and the wine. Through these ordinary gifts we receive the fullness of God’s grace and truth. (Sundays and Seasons)
Readings and Psalm

REMINDER ABOUT OUR NEW OFFERING ENVELOPES
  •  for everyone who is on PAD giving (automatic Withdrawals from you Bank Account), there are no longer individual envelopes for the "Special weeks" such as Lenten services, Thanksgiving or Christmas services.  If you are attending a service, and did not bring an envelope from home, don't worry - there are plenty of blank ones in the pews.
  • there is no longer a date on the envelopes, which means that they can be used for any Sunday.  Your giving can be tracked by the envelope number (1 - 400), or by your name.   It is helpful if you would put a date on your Giving Envelope.
In future, when you use a pew envelope, please make sure that either your Name, your Giving Envelope number (if you remember), and the Date is on the envelope. This will make it much easier for  the Counters and the staff credit your charitable giving for the year.
