I hope you all had a great Christmas with your families full of fun and family time, playing games, eating food and watching television together it's a special time of year.
A time to hug your family tight, remember loved ones no longer with us but try to keep the traditions alive, traditions that mean so much to you, each family has their own whether it's playing board games or dressing up as Santas or Elves.
Some of our family chose to have matching pj's whilst opening their presents, I have vowed to up our game next year, we will have five grandchildren, 3 under 4 and therefore I am going to turn our front room into Santas Grotto, twinkling lights and candy canes!! Watch out kids you won't know what to expect :)
With New Year comes my husband's birthday 1st January saw him turn 60 and as a family, we set out to buy 60 presents, we settled on 5 tokens each family and the rest presents, large or small. This saw him have sweets and coasters, pictures. mugs with pictures, a blender to get fit, a jigsaw puzzle of our latest grandson, a trip to Silverstone, various outings throughout the year and the tokens were varied from a pasty cooked by my Mother to the first cuddle from our next grandson due February.
It was a special day and one he won't forget for a long time.

Say goodbye to 2019.
It was mostly good and not too mean.
It was one of the better, recent one, that has been.
So raise your glasses and with me give cheers and thanks for another, coming year.
