Many people, like me, have better vision by wearing glasses, but all believers need spiritual correction from God's Word. And God's Word is very clear: All believers are to be witnesses for Jesus and God's plan for all mankind. However, the majority of believers fail in their calling and feel guilty.
Billy Graham died in 2018. German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke, died just weeks ago. Evangelist Luis Palau is getting up in years, and Greg Laurie's crusades can only cover so much territory. Maybe the Church has depended on crusades too long. I believe 2020 is THE YEAR that the Church must follow the lead of those disciples who turned the world upside down following Jesus resurrection.
I have read many books on evangelism. I've taken many witnessing classes. I have even taught classes on some of the methods. I like sharing my faith, and yet I fail to respond to the many opportunities that come my way.
Some methods feel too "mechanical", and make me feel like a car salesman. I don't come off as sincere because I'm focused on getting the presentation right, rather than relating to a person. The methods that emphasize developing a long term relation with a person in order to "earn the right to share", have merit, but mean that it may be years of cultivation and focus on one or two individuals, while neglecting many other opportunities.
"Simpli Share It, the evangelism method I have been working on, is the result of 18 months or more of development, and is a tool to overcome the barriers we all face as witnesses for Jesus.
Bottom line: If you want to be obedient to Jesus commands to share the good news, SimpliShareit will be a game changer for you. You CAN do this because someone else will be sharing for you! You will just make the introduction and give out a Gift Card.
The privilege of sharing the gospel in the US could be taken away in a heart beat if certain "hate speech" laws ever pass.
SimpliShareIt compliments any method you might already use, but increases your opportunities more than any system I know of. There is no real “training” involved, yet, I am looking for facilitators to present this to groups in their own churches. I’d like to hear from you if you would be willing to gather a group and share this simple method. I

TORNADO STORY: Straight line winds and tornadoes struck the town of Greenville, Texas, where we leased a warehouse studio. It occurred in the spring of the year. The damage was very "spotty" in that some places had damage and others were skipped over. A large church had extensive damage to their worship center and it still has not been repaired. Our warehouse studio was spared, but another just blocks away was totally destroyed. Our landlord owns both warehouses and after assessment he needed us to vacate in order to have space for his own needs. Accepting this as God's will, I began a prayer walk in Greenville, asking for His provision of a new space. I was sitting on a downtown park bench on the main street praying when an individual walked out of a door next to me and asked me if he could help. As we conversed, chills went up a down both of us as we recognized this was a "divine encounter"! To summarize, we both needed a green screen studio, and construction is about 35% complete. Since we both direct non profits organizations there is a need of about $3000 to complete construction. PTL

Here are some more reasons why people do not witness to others (from the book, “Mastering Outreach and Evangelism”)
Simpli Share It overcomes all of these barriers.
1. LACK OF KNOWLEDGE “Many struggle to articulate the truths of the gospel in a simple, coherent, and intelligible way.”
2. APATHY “Some of us just don’t care that much about lost people. We wouldn’t ever say it, but our priorities and lives reveal it. We make no time in our busy schedules to interact and engage with those who don’t know Christ. We have long stopped praying for lost people in our neighborhoods and workplaces. We have no non-Christian friends, and barely any ties. Lost people are a low priority. For instance, when was the last time you invited someone into your home who did not know Christ?”
3. FEAR “What will others think of me? What if they don’t like me or my family? Some are paralyzed by the thought of being disliked, marginalized, laughed at, or openly mocked. We’re afraid we’ll lose business or get passed up for that promotion. What if they stop inviting my kids to the birthday parties? What if talking about Christ makes seeing my neighbors awkward? What if they lump me together with Ned Flanders or the Westboro Baptist Church-cult?”
4. Lack of Compassion "We lack compassion for the lost. We have long forgotten what it was like to live without hope, lost and apart from Christ. We rarely consider that those who do not obey Christ “will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord” (2 Thessalonians 1:9). We just don’t care that much. We might say we care, but we rarely cry out to God for the salvation of our lost neighbors, coworkers, and classmates. Paul’s compassion in Romans 9:3 is utterly foreign to us: “I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers.”
