In this charged political climate, journalists in the United States need additional resources to ensure their safety when covering events that could become dangerous.
The coming 2020 presidential elections will be preceded by many rallies, protests, and campaign events with the potential to become unsafe. It is imperative that journalists have the knowledge and training to report on these events safely and continue to inform the American public.
