2020... A New Decade... A New Beginning
The new year is the perfect time to say goodbye to unproductive, ineffective habits and the perfect time to say hello to practical, functional, and valuable routines. The results of the latter will have you feeling empowered, gratified, happy... the list goes on!
Here's how to get started.
- Start Small – Don't give yourself the goal of, "I'm going to organize my bedroom today." Realistically, this won't happen. Instead, your goal should be, "I'm going to organize two drawers in my dresser today." Keeping your objective small will help you stay motivated.
- Keep a List – Each day, keep a list for yourself. Label it, 'To Do,' 'To Buy,' and 'To Call.' Cross off & add items as they occur. You will feel much more in control of your day!
- Keep a Calendar – Use one calendar, digital or paper for everything; birthdays, school events/sports, personal & professional appointments, etc. This calendar should be your go-to for all commitments and reminders.
