SMCC is The Happening Place for Lunch on Fridays

This winter, make SMCC your Friday spot for lunch and take a pause for a cause with friends! Jeannie's Community Cafe at SMCC provides delicious, hot, nutritious lunches every Friday from 11-2pm.

Each Friday's menu change, and is posted to SMCC's Facebook page. Plus, you can pay what you can, if you can. All proceeds benefit the people served by SMCC. Eat-in or take out available.

Jeannie also provides an SMCC-sponsored dinner on Monday evenings at Union United Methodist Church's parish hall from 4-7pm.

Learn and play the ancient game of strategy, Mahjong, a tile-based game developed in China and usually played with four players.

Food Distribution

The St. Michaels Community Center is now a Food Distribution site, helping the St. Vincent de Paul Society expand its reach for the Maryland Food Bank. Food donations are available 12:30pm-2pm, Mondays and Wednesdays.

Community Partner: Treasure Cove Thrift Shop


Did you Know? ​We partner with many other local non-profit organizations and the Department of Social Services to provide assistance for victims of fire, flood, eviction, job loss, or any other special circumstance leaving people in need.

In addition to reselling donated goods to the public in support of the people we serve, Treasure Cove Thrift Shop also provides assistance in times of emergencies to anyone in need of clothing, shoes, household items or furniture—entirely free of charge.
