In 2019,188"special needs" dogs, cats & kittens from our local animal shelter entered SVPP's foster program to receive extra care and find their forever homes.
Each pet rescued is special, but Christine, a 15 year old Westie touched the hearts of everyone she met
Sadly, Christine was surrendered to the shelter to be euthanized after 15 years with a family. She had a severe skin infection which left her lower body almost hairless.
Despite her physical appearance, Christine showed us a perky happy golden girl with lots of love to give!
Christine thrived in her foster home, and with some time, medication and lots of TLC she was ready for her forever home!
